2. E.I T. (Elder in training) – assigned mentor – John MacArthur, Grace Community Church
3. Was on the Elder Board & assigned as a direct liaison for John MacArthur
4. New church planter – The Tabernacle Church – Santa Clarita, Ca.
5. Have trained a multiplicity of men to be equipped for becoming leaders in their homes, businesses, church & on the mission fields
6. Have led evangelistic outreach – to reach both kids & adults for Christ – (schools, VIDA, Prisons & Harvest Crusades)
7. I have been a pastor, counselor, evangelist for Christ
8. Trainer of men – equipping them using Scripture & common-sense

Tony was born in Mexico moving to Southern California at the age of 6 & growing up as the 7th of 8 children.  Raised in Catholicism, he converted to Christianity at the age of 10 attending a Free Methodist Church.  

He is an ordained Free Methodist minister having served in bilingual ministry for 34 years in CA, NY, MD, NC & SC across various denominations in the following capacities: Youth Pastor (6 years), Assistant Pastor (7 years) & Lead Pastor (3 years); Corporate Chaplain (11 years) & currently as a Marketplace Chaplain (5 years) & a Hospice Chaplain (2 years).

Academically, he double majored in Religion/Philosophy & Social Work earning a Bachelor of Social Work & a Master of Divinity from Northeastern Seminary.     

He enjoys traveling in ministry having visited 34 states along w/Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, Jordan and Israel.

Tony also serves on the Board of “Christians in the Marketplace” & is on the Chaplain Faculty of their Chaplain Training Certificate Program.  He also serves as the Director of their Annual Conference as well as Conference Emcee.

Additionally, Tony is an entrepreneur leading his own Personal Growth/Leadership Development programs as a John Maxwell Certified Leadership Speaker/Coach called: CAMBIO (the Spanish word for CHANGE). 

Tony loves living life to the full with Dr. Dawn Casas, his beautiful college sweetheart & wife of 28 years who is a professor & Chair of the Communication Department at Charleston Southern University.  

Together, they cherish their two terrific daughters; Eva (21), an accomplished Graphic Designer and Lucia (19) a passionate Christian Studies major at Charleston Southern University.

You’ll most certainly find Tony at one of our local Chipotle’s as one of his highlights in life is surpassing the 45,000 reward points on his Chipotle app!!
